Drum roll please! We’d like to give a big congratulations to Fouad Elfilali for winning our Canon XC10 Sweepstakes. Elfiali will be taking home the high-performance professional XC10 camcorder.
Elfilali says that he discovered the sweepstakes through a friend on Facebook and instantly forgot about it after applying, believing that he wouldn’t win. But lo and behold, Elfilali ended up with the prize!
Elfilali is a beginning video and photo enthusiast, and he’s excited about getting and using his Canon XC10, saying that once his new camera arrives, he will use it for photos first and then branch into video. The XC10 will be perfect for that, since it shoots both 4K video and 12 Megapixel digital stills.
With the XC10, Elfilali says that he’s looking forward to shooting a lot of nature and architectural shots in Morocco, which he notes is full of places that fit those descriptions.
Elfilali also says that he is looking forward to learning more about the XC10 and videography through Videomaker. “[I] definitely think [Videomaker] is a good source of knowledge of the art of video and photography that [I] will gladly use to make better my future skills,” says Elfilali.
