Acer is refreshing a few of its gaming notebooks in the Predator Triton and Helios line. This includes the Predator Triton 300 SE and Predator Helios 300.
One of the primary updates is the integration of the new 11th Gen Intel Core H35-series processor. The Predator Triton 300 SE is fitted with the new Intel processors. Also, the Predator Triton 300 SE and Predator Helios 300 have been upgraded as well with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs. So ultimately, these two notebooks should now offer higher display refresh rates and better cooling. Additionally, Acer claims the new GPUs will increase energy efficiency by up to “2X”, resulting in “dramatically” accelerated performance.
Predator Triton 300 SE

Measuring at 17.9 mm (0.7 in), the latest Predator Triton 300 SE is capable of playing today’s games on-the-go. Also, they’re fitted with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 H35-series Special Edition processors, allowing them to reach up to 5 GHz The cooling system features a dual-fan design and the latest 5th Gen AeroBlade Fan and Acer’s Vortex Flow technology. This cooling system increases the air intake, minimizes turbulence, and redirects airflow to crucial components. Acer claims the system results in a 10% performance increase over previous generations.
Powering a 14-inch FHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, the Predator Triton 300 SE has a battery life of 10 hours. In addition, the notebook houses a few ports, like Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI. As for storage, the Triton 300 SE offers up to 1 TB of PCIe 3.0 NVMe.
Predator Helios 300

The Predator Helios 300 is now fitted with the latest NVIDIA GPUs. This includes the RTX 3080. It is also now with the 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and a 144 Hz IPS 1920×1080 display.
