Being stuck at home right now can get pretty boring. In fact, it’s downright lonely at times. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. We’re all stuck at home, so let’s socialize online on Videomaker’s Discord server.
We at Videomaker have set up a Discord server as a place for videographers and filmmakers to provide real-time support to one another. Discord is currently one of the easiest platforms to use and it offers communication over voice, video and text. You can download it free, directly to your smartphone, laptop or desktop.
“Beer Friday” is a tradition at Videomaker, so we want to invite everyone for virtual drinks.
Join the Videomaker Discord server
Everyone is welcome on Videomaker’s Discord server. On the server, we’ll all share tips and geek out about gear. You’ll also have the opportunities to meet pros near you.
You can join the server anytime, but we’d like to have everyone log on between 5pm and 8pm ET on Friday, April 10th. Beer Friday is a tradition at Videomaker, so we want to invite everyone for virtual drinks. It’s a Videomaker Happy Hour of sorts.
Chatting on the server
Voice chatting on Videomaker’s Discord server is easy. Once you have a Discord account, all you will need is a working microphone and a pair of headphones. Other than that, just go to the Videomaker Discord server, click on the voice chat channel you want to join and you’ll be set.
If you’re up for a chat, jump onto Discord on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. We look forward to speaking with you all. Remember, we’re all in this together.
