CES 2024: Acer Nitro V 16 brings AI-powered gaming to CES

Acer is showing off the new Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop this week at CES 2024.

Targeting casual gamers and mobile workers, the Nitro V 16 comes equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor. This can be paired with dedicated graphics up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU.

Display options include a 16-inch WQXGA or WUXGA screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 3ms. The panel offers a wide 16:10 aspect ratio along with DTS X: Ultra powered speakers.

Acer promises the Nitro V 16 delivers versatile performance and long battery life. The new laptop also features a dual-fan cooling system to keep components cool, even when the computer is under load. Plus, the NitroSense utility app allows for even more control over performance and temperature.

To top it off, the Nitro V 16 comes with up to 32GB of DDR55600 and up to 2 TB of SSD storage.

AI-ready

Like other new computers launched this week, the new Acer Nitro V 16 embraces an AI-powered future. Equipped with AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors with Ryzen AI technology built in, the laptop touts reliable speeds for gaming and streaming along with smarter battery optimizations and AI-enhanced visuals.

For enhanced streaming and video chatting, the laptop offers AI-supported Acer PurifiedView and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0. The latter uses a three-microphone array and AI noise reduction to minimize distracting background sounds.
