Dell Promises More Power And Performance With Release of New Precision Mobile Workstations

Dell today announced the release of the latest line of Precision mobile workstations, allowing “creative professionals that demand purpose-built solutions to manage their critical workloads.” The new workstations are thinner and lighter on the outside due to a design combination of carbon fibre and aluminium, while new processors and faster memory and storage contribute to the enhanced performance on the inside.

The screen options have also been updated, with the inclusion of PremierColor 4K Ultra HD displays and 100% minimum Adobe RGB color gamut.

The Precision workstations support the latest USB technology, including Thunderbolt 3 and new M.2 PCIe NVMe storage options, making them an ideal option for managing large video files. [image:blog_post:58199]

Dell listened carefully to customers from a number of different industries during the development stage of the Precision, including Adobe on behalf of the media and entertainment industry.

“We worked closely with Dell to test the new line up of Dell Precision Workstations to ensure an optimal experience that creative professionals need with our industry-defining Adobe Creative Cloud,” said Bill Roberts, senior director of Professional Video at Adobe. “The new Dell Precision Workstations offer the speed and performance that our users want as they work with the powerful Adobe apps such as Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effects CC to create engaging content.”
