Features: The Pro 500 Watt lights comprise of an aluminum head that houses two daylight (5500 Kelvin color temperature) fluorescent lamps. Aluminum makes it strong, light in weight and cooler in operation. The head is compact in design yet operates cooler and produces high intensity light. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally on the 8.5 foot aluminum stand. To achieve control over the spread of light, 4-way barndoors are provided. By adjusting the barndoors, the light can be focused into an intense beam or it can be spread to light a larger area evenly. Both vertical and horizontal adjustments can be made with the independent movement of each door. If the shot requires a different color output of the light, one can use the light diffusion filters or gels provided. Attaching the gel to the barndoor changes the color temperature of the light to tungsten (3000 to 3200 Kelvin) instantaneously.
