Comica is introducing the first-ever transformable professional mic, the Traxshot. Essentially, Traxshot is an all-in-one microphone that can transition from being a mono to a stereo to a bi-directional mic.
The Comica Traxshot is a portable mic that changes shape when it switches between modes. It has multi-modes for mono, two-level stereo and bi-directional for all cameras and smartphones. This microphone lends itself well to a variety of uses and industries, such as podcasts, special events, music videos, travel vlogs and even voiceovers.
According to Comica, this microphone is based on the movie Transformers. “The Chevrolet TraxTM concept car from the Transformers movie, The Traxshot name signifies its sophisticated mode-switching capability, much like a Transformer,” Comica says.
The Traxshot mic features three sound pickup modes
Comica includes three sound pickup modes, consisting of a Mono Mode for vlogs and interviews, two Stereo Modes (30-degrees and 90-degrees) for recording ambient sound and Front and Rear Modes for recording two people for interviews.
