This plugin lets Mac, Loupedeck users integrate OBS Studio

OBS Studio is an essential tool for many streamers. It’s free, easy-to-use open-source software that streamers — big and small — benefit from using. Now, Loupedeck users have access to OBS Studio on Mac.

According to Loupedeck, the Mac plug-in brings the same features and controls as the Windows plug-in. Previous to this announcement, there was only a Windows plug-in option. It allows streamers to switch between scenes, adjust audio and switch through sources in OBS Studio. All of these features are in the Mac version.

“Loupedeck is announcing a new streaming plugin for OBS Studio for Mac, available on February 23. This new native integration will provide the same features and controls as the currently available Windows plug-in, allowing streamers to seamlessly switch between scenes, toggle sources, fine-tune audio, and create custom macros within the OBS Studio program,” the company says.

Loupedeck delivers this long-requested release

Loupedeck says the plug-in release is a direct response to users’ requests. They routinely requested Mac access for the OBS Studio plug-in. So, the release is going to make a lot of people happy.

Now, alongside OBS Studio, Loupedeck also offers native software interactions with Twitch, Spotify, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Illustrator, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, and Adobe After Effects CC. It supports Streamlabs, but it’s for Windows only.

Where do you access the plug-in?

The Mac plug-in is open to all Loupedeck Live and CT users. It’s available through a software update available on Loupedeck’s official website.
