SmallHD debuts 13- and 17-inch wireless monitors

SmallHD just announced two new wireless production monitors — the 1303 HDR and the 1703 P3X. Both new monitors aim to decrease the number of accessories on set.

1303 HDR

The 1303 HDR is a 13-inch production monitor that comes with a built-in Teradek Sidekick II receiver. This daylight viewable display pairs together SmallHD TX monitors and Teradek Bolt 500, 1000, and 3000 transmitters.

The monitor/receiver features a 1500 nit full HD LCD display and offer zero-delay HD monitoring, according to SmallHD. SmallHD also emphasizes that the monitor will not add any extra cables or batteries to your setup.

1703 P3X

The 17-inch 1703 P3X sports a reference grade, daylight viewable display and built-in Teradek wireless receiver. SmallHD claims it’s “literally a complete video village” with its rugged design. Also, it has the ability to send real-time 3D LUTs downstream.

“the 17RX saves time, eliminates clutter and provides cinematographers with an accurate view of the post-production look,” says SmallHD.
