Mountain View, Calif., March 1, 2006 Pinnacle Systems, a division of Avid Technology, Inc., today unveiled a wide range of products that make it easier for consumers to record, preserve and share their personal videos on DVD and mobile devices and offer fast and easy ways for consumers to enjoy digital content on the go. .
Pinnacle Studio Product Line Highlights
Leveraging recently available Pinnacle Studio 10.5 update to its flagship product family, including performance enhancements such as faster launch times, reduced memory footprint and more complete export capabilities, Pinnacle has updated its Studio line with the addition of Studio Plus Titanium Special Edition. Highlights of the Studio Plus Titanium Special Edition include mobility capabilities such as exporting video in MPEG-4 for viewing on portable devices like Sony’s PSP and Apple’s Video iPod and the addition of RTFX Vol. 1 plug-ins which enable an even greater spectrum of real-time effects to enhance the user experience. The Studio Plus Titanium Special Edition will be available in April 2006.
Dazzle Product Line Highlights
With the new Dazzle video capture line consumers can record video content from camcorders, VCRs or TVs and enjoy it on a variety of devices, including DVD players, Sony PSPs or Apple Video iPods. The Dazzle video capture line includes Dazzle DVD Recorder, designed for simple, affordable and fast DVD creation and Dazzle Video Creator Platinum for fast, high-quality DVD creation and video editing on any PC. Both products will be available in April 2006.
Pinnacle Mobile Media Product Line Highlights
Mobile devices are emerging rapidly to offer consumers a wide variety of digital entertainment options, including games, photos, music and video. At the same time, the market is lacking simple, integrated applications that can manage, transcode and transfer all of this content to PSP and iPod devices. The new Mobile Media line, which includes the Mobile Media Maker and Mobile Media Manager software products, solves these problems by allowing virtually anyone to transfer video and other media files to PSPs or iPods company’swith great ease. The new Mobile Media line will be available at the end of April 2006.
