Ulead Announces Video Toolbox 2.0 Transcoding Software

Reprinted from a Ulead press release:

Ulead Systems, Inc, a 15-year industry leader in digital media software development, announces Video ToolBox 2.0, digital media file conversion software. Video ToolBox lets consumers easily convert common video, photo and audio files to different formats for playback on a variety of entertainment devices, including MPEG 4 media players and 3G mobile video phones.

Video ToolBox 2.0 offers basic video trimming and photo enhancement tools with a variety of theme-based templates such as Romantic, School, and Travel that automatically create a movie clip or slideshow with text, music, transitions and intro and exit graphics. The software captures and outputs to popular file formats such as GIF, JPG, TIF, AVI, MPEG-1, MEPG-2, MP3, WMV, ASF, MPEG-4, and 3GPP to view on the Web, CD/DVD, MPEG-4 players and 3G mobile phones.

“As there are many different digital media file formats, it’s often confusing and frustrating to figure out how to get the right format for your particular device or need,” says Ian Andes, video editing software product manager at Ulead Systems. “We designed Video ToolBox so that it’s extremely simple to use. Within seconds you’ll have the format you need to begin enjoying your photos, videos and music immediately.”
