Reprinted from a DVLine press release:
DVLine has begun offering a new version of its ProLaptop line that is the first in the country to offer ATI’s 9000 Mobility display at 128MB. The card provides for lightning quick redraws under the most demanding applications. The 128MB display is available on models up to 3.06GHz providing adequate capability to run applications such as Avid Xpress, Pinnacle Edition 5 and Vegas+DVD. The new graphics chip will speed up everything from After Effects to 3DS Max to Boris.
“We have always sought the perfect portable, but up until now they have just been underpowered. With our new models, you get internal storage up to 180GB, DVD-R/RW and more. With the new 128MB graphics adapter, we have scaled the last hurdle in achieving desktop performance in a mobile editor” says Kenneth Bell; founder of the company. “Further, when combined with the internal DVD burner, you can edit on location without having to bring external drives and DVD burning devices which ultimately limited portability”. Finally, the DVLine ProLaptop series comes equipped with a huge 16.1″ display empowering the creative producer to use their full toolset.
The new models are immediately available at www.dvline.com and can be configured according to a customer’s specific needs, including Sonic Foundry Vegas+DVD, Pinnacle Edition 5, Avid Xpress DV and Adobe Premiere. Pricing starts at $2600.00 for a base model.
