Zencastr announces the first end-to-end video podcasting platform

Zencastr is known for its web-based solution for producing high-quality audio podcasts. However, the company has announced a major update that adds video recording and distribution. Zencastr claims theirs is now the first end-to-end video podcast platform targeted at creators and brands around the world.

Video recording

As part of the Zencastr platform, podcast creators can now remotely record high-quality HD 4K video as a premium feature. You can still record audio only if you prefer. In addition, you make solo recordings or record with up to twelve guests.

Video editing

Zencastr now includes automated editing using smart filters, though, again, this is a premium feature. You can also now convert audio to video to increase your audience’s engagement. In addition, Zencastr now incorporates post-production AI technology so that you can have professional sound in seconds.

Hosting and distribution

With Zencastr, you can now use audio and video hosting on all major directories that support secure RSS. You also have unlimited storage and audio downloads. Once your podcast is ready, you can distribute it to Spotify, Apple, and Google podcasts.

Monetization

Zencastr now allows you to connect with, accept or deny prospective advertisers. There are also tools for attribution and tracking of your ad campaigns. In addition, you can access “boosts” to grow the reach of your podcast and shows, which is great for when you are starting out. Finally, with Zencastr, you can now use self-service analytics, real-time performance data and insights to monitor the progress of your podcast.

Verdict

The podcasting industry has grown at an exponential pace over the past two years, and the Interactive Advertising Bureau predicts it will be a $4 billion industry by 2024. Adding video to your podcast can dramatically increase engagement with your audience, and Zencastr now gives you all the tools you need to do this. You can use the platform for free and then upgrade to a paid option as your podcast grows. There is even a free 14-day trial of the premium Professional and Growth packages with no credit card needed.
