Vizrt launches new graphics production solution: Viz Trio Go

Vizrt has now announced Vizrt Viz Trio Go, an out-of-the-box 3D graphics creation and control tool.

Viz Trio Go

Viz Trio Go is a new broadcast graphics tool. It combines compact hardware with Vizrt’s Viz Trio control application. Viz Trio is the most widely used and versatile control application for graphics in broadcast tech. The new system also incorporates Viz Engine, Vizrt’s graphics platform to enable total graphics production via NDI workflows.

Who is Viz Trio Go for?

Vizrt has designed Viz Trio Go for smaller production hubs. It means local and regional stations, or outside broadcast (OB) van operations have access to top-shelf graphics solutions at an affordable price. Ionut ‘Johnny’ Pogacean, Senior Product Manager at Vizrt, said, “Historically, smaller or more regional broadcasters operate with limited budgets and limited resources — often one staff member wears many hats. We realize the challenges these stations are facing, including that to remain competitive in today’s current landscape, they must deliver content that is visually engaging, similar to the bigger broadcasters.”

Free templates and training

Viz Trio Go comes with free customizable graphics packages, modeled after the world’s top sports and news broadcasters. You can also easily modify the templates using the real-time 3D motion graphics design tool Viz Artist. This means graphics designers can build scenes for any type of media production including virtual sets. In addition, Vizrt is supporting new Viz Trio Go users with a free course through the company’s learning platform, Viz University.

What we think

Viz Trio Go is a powerful system so any size of broadcaster can create high-quality visuals with ease regardless of budget or technical expertise. As it’s also a plug-and-play solution, Viz Trio Go seamlessly integrates with your existing workflows. This reduces the need for extensive training or additional personnel, and so helps users go to air faster. Viz Trio Go is set to become a very popular product in the broadcast video world.

Availability

Viz Trio Go is available now from Vizrt and authorized resellers. To make it more affordable, Vizrt is offering a “significant” discount on Viz Trio Go with the purchase of a TriCaster or Viz 3Play.  In addition, the company is also offering a 50% discount when you trade in your NVG1 unit for Viz Trio Go.
