Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2021 gets AI update

As Adobe develops its AI technology—named Sensei—we’re seeing more AI tools implemented into the Creative Cloud. 2021 versions of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements feature a few new Sensei AI tools.

We’ll see the implementation of features like “‘Moving Photos’ animations, a Face Tilt adjustment for portraits and more guided edits. A lot of these updates are geared towards novice photo and video editors. Likely, professionals won’t get much use out of these updates. Still, these new tools will be of help to beginners in post.

Premiere Elements 2021

The 2021 version of Premiere Elements updates the application with GPU Acceleration, subject selection and tracking and more music choices.

Adobe is adding GPU acceleration, which allows for real-time effects previews without rendering. Additionally, 21 new music tracks are being added as well as the ability to apply effects to subjects or backgrounds instead of layering them into the entire clip. Adobe also added in a few new Guided Edits.

Photoshop Elements 2021

Moving on from Premiere Elements, Photoshop Elements 2021 adds in three new features. Those features are Moving Photos, Face Tilt Adjustment, and Quote Graphics. Essentially, Moving Photos uses Sensei to apply pre-designed animations to still photos. Face Title Adjustment, allows creators to adjust the tilt of every face in a portrait in a few different ways. Creators can rotate faces as well as move them up-and-down and left-and-right. With Quote Graphics, creators can overlay customizable text and animation over photos.

Additionally, Photoshop Elements 2021 more Guided Edits: ‘Perfect Landscapes,’ ‘Move, Scale, and Duplicate Objects,’ and ‘Duotone Effect.’

Pricing and availability

You can get both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2021 for $100 each, or $150 as a bundle. Also, If you already own a previous version of the programs, you can upgrade for $80 individually or $120 if you want to upgrade the bundle.
