CES 2022: Razer refreshes the Blade 14 and Blade 17

At this year’s CES, Razer is showcasing the new, refreshed 2022 models of its Razer Blade 14 and Razer Blade 17 laptops. While the laptops may look similar on the outside, they have quite a few improvements inside.

Let’s take a quick look at what those are.

What’s new with both?

The most apparent difference in the new 2022 models is their inclusion of faster DDR5 RAM. Additionally, the Razer Blade 14 and Razer Blade 17 now support AMD’s latest Ryzen 9 or Intel’s new 12th Gen processors. You can choose between either. Also, Razer said its new models will include support for Nvidia’s new RTX 3070 Ti and the 3080 Ti mobile graphics chip.

The base model comes with a 1080p IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. However, you can opt for two QHD 165Hz refresh rate panel options configured with the RTX 3070 Ti or the RTX 3080 Ti. Razer added a new 61.6Wh battery and comes with a 230W power adapter.
