This week at CES 2022, HP announced the latest ENVY Desktop PC. HP calls the new desktop computer an “expansive powerhouse for creatives, designed to be the central hub to help you learn, create, and manage every aspect of modern life.”
Inside the HP ENVY
Inside, the new HP ENVY features up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor along with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards up to the RTX 3080 Ti. The system runs on Windows 11.
To allow the system to grow with new demands, the new desktop also features what HP calls “one touch tool-less expandability.” This feature, along with standard parts, promises to make future upgrades easier.
Other features
The new PC also supports HP Palette. This includes Duet, which lets users connect a tablet, smartphone or PC as a second display. Additionally, HP QuickDrop offers an easy-to-use app that enables you to transfer files between devices.
HP has also equipped the new ENVY with multiple high-speed ports. These include Thunderbolt connectivity as well as a built-in card reader. The PC also allows users to connect up to four 4K monitors.

Pricing and availability
The HP ENVY Desktop PC is expected to start shipping in March 2022. HP plans to announce pricing closer to the ENVY’s release date.
