Canon recently announced two new PowerShot G-Series 4K video shooting cameras: PowerShot G5X Mark II and the G7X Mark III.

Canon PowerShot G5X Mark II
Targeting the skilled amateur videographer, the Canon PowerShot G5X Mark II is powered by a 1-inch, 20.1 megapixel CMOS sensor. That sensor is paired with a DIGIC 8 image processor. It’s capable of shooting up to 4K 30p and FHD 120p video. Additionally, the optical image stabilizer should make the camera’s shot more precise.

There’s a number of shooting modes on the camera. Those include Panoramic Shooting mode, Star Shooting mode and Continuous Shooting mode. The Continuous Shooting mode captures up to 20fps or 30fps in RAW burst mode for all those quick-action shot.

Canon PowerShot G7X Mark III
The Canon PowerShot G7X Mark III is made for streamers. This camera can live stream, and it supports vertical video. Additionally, it features an external microphone connection and a tiltable LCD screen.

Users can stream their content to YouTube directly. If they want to upload their videos on other social media channels, the Mark III supports vertical video so users can match the dimensions and aspect ratio of the platform.
