BOXX updates APEXX S4 workstation with new 13th Gen Intel Core processors

BOXX Technologies has announced that its APEXX S4 workstation has been updated to feature 13th Gen Intel Core i7 and i9 processors. BOXX Technologies is among the first workstation manufacturers to ship systems equipped with the new processors.

The APEXX S4 computer workstation is a desk side tower system with rackmount capability. The workstation is designed to deliver optimal performance for CPU and GPU tasks. This makes it ideal for running Adobe Creative Cloud as well as software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and Cinema 4D.

The APEXX S4 computer workstation features 24-core 13th Gen Intel Core i7, and i9 processors overclocked up to 5.8GHz. The processors also include Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0, 20 total CPU PCIe lanes, and up to 36MB Intel Smart Cache.

The APEXX S4 computer workstation supports up to four NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs. BOXX Technologies says that this delivers state-of-the-art performance for a wide range of professional workflows.

Other specifications

To support the new Intel Core technology, the computer workstation features liquid cooling. You can also configure your computer with up to 128GB of memory storage. Support for the latest DDR5 provides control over memory configuration, while Thunderbolt 4 support provides simple and fast peripheral connections. In addition, it has a 1300 W power supply.

Accelerated 3D workflows

“The new APEXX S4 dramatically accelerates demanding 3D workflows,” said Bill Leasure, BOXX VP of Sales and Marketing. “The addition of 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors to this multi-GPU workstation will enable architects, engineers, animators, VFX artists, video editors, and other creative professionals to create and render faster and more efficiently than ever before.”

The APEXX S4 is a powerful and highly configurable computer workstation designed for video editors and other graphics professionals. As such, the workstation has a price that may put off casual users. However, if you earn your living working with video or 3D and CGI, you should definitely look at what the APEXX S4 computer workstation has to offer.
