BenQ has announced a new 27-inch 4K monitor that delivers a color-accurate display for video editing and photography. The BenQ PD2732U is the first monitor released in an updated Creative Pro series.
4K display
The BenQ PD2732U features a 27-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS LCD panel. It displays up to 1.07 billion colors at a maximum brightness of 400 nits, with HDR10 support and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio.
Connectivity starts with Thunderbolt 4, which carries video, data and up to 90W of power over a single cable. It supports daisy-chaining multiple monitors as well. DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports round out the connections.
Color accuracy
Coverage comes in at 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, so you can trust the colors you see for video, print and web. BenQ’s AQCOLOR technology ensures out-of-the-box color precision with corner-to-corner uniformity.
Each monitor is individually factory-calibrated to an average Delta E < 2, and you get a report confirming it. The PD2732U is also Calman Verified and Pantone Validated, including Pantone SkinTone Validation.
Other features
According to BenQ, the PD2732U’s Nano Matte Black panel improves black depth while cutting glare, reflections and highlight diffusion. The monitor also ships with the wireless Hotkey Puck G3, which lets you adjust the on-screen settings of up to three monitors remotely. A built-in USB hub offers one USB-C and three USB-A downstream ports, with support for 5 Gb/s storage drives.
Apple users
Mac owners get specific attention too. The PD2732U’s M-book Mode eliminates the differences between Mac displays and the monitor. iDevice Color Sync allows accurate previews of iPhone and iPad content.
What we think
As a creator, you need to be confident that the colors in your content are correct. The BenQ PD2732U delivers that accuracy whether you work in video, photography or print, along with multiple connectivity options and specific support for Apple products. It isn’t cheap. Still, for a Calman Verified and Pantone Validated monitor with a factory calibration report, it’s great value. If you’re shopping for your first color-accurate monitor, the PD2732U deserves a serious look.

The BenQ PD2732U is available to preorder exclusively at B&H for $700. A bundle adds BenQ’s Ergo monitor arm for $800, saving you $50.
