Last week, AMD uploaded a teaser trailer to Twitter and YouTube for an upcoming Radeon PRO graphics card. Currently, there’s no other official information outside the trailer. There is, however, speculation from various sites – though at this point they need to be taken with a grain of salt. Still, with all the hype rising after AMD’s trailer drop, we can safely say it’s going to be a big reveal tomorrow.
The AMD Radeon PRO Twitter account posted a teaser
On June 3, the AMD-ran Twitter account ‘AMD Radeon PRO’ posted a tweet featuring a teaser video. The post’s caption teases a huge announcement and reveals the announcement date. The post reads: “Something BIG is coming. June 8 2021.”
On the same day, AMD uploaded the same video to its YouTube channel. The title of the YouTube video is ‘Something BIG is coming (Short).’
Breaking down the trailers
As all good teasers tend to do, AMD’s clip gives us just enough information to spark everyone’s speculation. From what we can tell, the AMD Radeon PRO trailer hints at a new graphics card. Design-wise, we can expect the card to come in a blue ivory color. That’s about all we can deduce at this point. Luckily, though, we all don’t have to wait long for the official announcement.
AMD will announce whatever the trailer is teasing tomorrow. We’ll be covering the big reveal, so be sure to stay tuned for all the details. Interestingly, this announcement comes just after Nvidia revealed its RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards. The Nvidia’s RTX 3080 Ti graphics card sold out shortly after its unveiling, primarily due to scalpers looking to mark up the price when reselling them.
