Motorola claims that the 2023 Edge+ features a stunning quad-curved, endless edge design and a virtually borderless 6.7-inch pOLED display, allowing users to focus on their content without distractions. The smartphone has anti-fingerprint coating on the front and velvet anti-glare glass inlay on the back for a comfortable grip. The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has IP68 water resistance.

The 2023 Motorola Edge+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, which Motorola states delivers 35% faster performance, 40% better power efficiency and 25% better GPU performance compared to its predecessor.

The camera

The 2023 Motorola Edge+ features a triple high-resolution camera system consisting of a 50-MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and instant all-pixel focus, a 50-MP ultrawide camera with Macro Vision, and a 12 MP 2x telephoto portrait camera. The phone also includes a 60 MP front-facing camera that uses the Snapdragon Cognitive Image Signal Processor for enhanced image quality. Its main camera can shoot 8K videos at 30 fps.

Motorola has introduced software features to support the device’s camera capabilities, such as Night Vision mode for low-light video shooting, Horizon Lock Stabilization for action scenes, Auto Focus Tracking for moving subjects and Portrait mode for creating a cinematic blur effect in videos.

Battery life

Motorola claims that the 2023 Edge+ has a 5100 mAh battery that provides up to two days of battery life on a single charge and 68W TurboPower charging, which can power the device for an entire day in just 9 minutes. The smartphone also supports 15 W wireless charging and 5 W wireless power sharing.
