Shure FP 15 Bodypack Wireless System

The Shure FP 15 Bodypack includes the FP1 Bodypack Transmitter and the FP5 Portable Receiver. The Transmitter will automatically sync to the receiver frequency, and has input jacks for either headset or more traditional microphones. The receiver will automatically set up and sync with the transmitters, and can identify an open frequency by pressing a single button. It can support the use of up to fourteen compatible systems simultaneously, and ensures consistent reception of the transmitted signals by the use of diversity antennas.

The receiver unit can be used to control the sound output either to the camera or to the mixer, whichever you prefer. The FP 15 Bodypack Wireless System also comes with a camera shoe mount and a lavalier microphone, which is ideal for picking up high quality sound while being small enough to conceal easily.

There are several options regarding microphones that can be used with this system, so you are able to choose the most appropriate for the setting. All Shure equipment is of sturdy construction to ensure reliability while you are recording. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by AA batteries, which can be easily and quickly replaced if necessary without causing much interruption to your filming.

The transmitter equipment, as well as being portable, is lightweight and will not really be noticeable even if worn for long periods of time. The receiver pack is also lightweight, and can be easily attached to your camera through the camera shoe mount, without making a significant difference to the overall weight, which is ideal if you will be filming for several hours at a time.
