Kino Flo Makes Biggest Celeb LED Yet with Celeb 850

Kino Flo’s newest LED, the Celeb 850 LED DMX, is the biggest Celeb for them yet, and is said to be one of the largest LEDs on the market.

The 850's measurements come in at 45 inches by 26 inches (124cm x 66cm). To give you a size comparison, Kino Flo’s Diva-Lite LED 30 is 39 inches by 10.5 inches (99cm x 27cm x 15cm). In addition, you can get the new SnapBag Softbox that increases its size to 72 inches by 49 inches (183cm x 124cm).

It’s light output is said to be at 111 foot candles at 10 feet, but Kino Flo says that it only use 4.1A (120VAC).

The Celeb 850 seems like it has much more color control than previous models from Kino Flo with three Menu options: one white and two color. In the white Menu, you will have access to Dimming, Kelvin (range is from 2700K tungsten to 6500K daylight) and Green/Magenta control channels.

In the first color channel, the Kelvin range travels from 2500K tungsten to 9900K daylight. There are also three other channels, one called Gel, which include Kino presents and “over 100 well-known lighting gels,” says Kino Flo. The other channels are called Hue Angle and Saturation, which behave similar to a traditional color wheel.

The second color menu allows for individual RGB control. “The RGB menu is a great way to work with apps with predetermined RGB presets or color wheels,” says Kino Flo.

The Kino Flo’s white mode range runs at 2700K – 6500K. The Gels/Hue Color mode’ color range run at 2500K-9900K.

The life of the light is rated at up to 50,000 hours.

The Celeb 850 is priced around 4,500 dollars with its center mount kit. It's slated to be available in October 2017. Go to kinoflo.com for more information.
