Nikon KeyMission 360

Nikon introduced today three new cameras; the KeyMission 360, KeyMission 170 and KeyMission 80 as part of their KeyMission lineup. Their line of cameras are designed to capture life’s many moments; to capture and share one’s own adventures, stories and loves to the world.

On their main stage is the KeyMission 360, Nikon’s first camera that is capable of full 360 degree video in 4K UHD. This camera features two f/2.0 NIKKOR lenses that come with 20-megapixel sensors to combine for stunning video or stills without having blind spots. This compact camera is waterproof (98 feet) shockproof (6.6 feet) and freezeproof (14 degrees fahrenheit). Using a smartphone and the Nikon SnapBridge 360/170 app, the KeyMission 360 is available to shoot remotely, connect and share whenever you have a connection. 

Nikon is also releasing the adventure-ready KeyMission 170. This super wide angle camera is able to shoot 170 degrees with its 5/2.8 lens and 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor that can capture 4K UHD video. This extremely compact camera is waterproof (33 feet) shockproof (6.6 feet) and freezeproof (14 degree fahrenheit). With the creative tools that is available with this camera, one can create engaging content including highlight tagging, slow motion movies as well as time-lapse and loop recording. One can easily frame any shot, play back any video and change settings using its rear LCD display. The KeyMission 170 also features the possibility to connect and share memories using the Nikon SnapBridge 360/170 app.


The third camera being released is the KeyMission 80, a compact and lightweight camera. This allows for hands-free stills as well as HD video using the 12-megapixel f/2.0 lens. This ready to go camera is waterproof (3.2 feet) shockproof (6 feet) and freezeproof (14 degree fahrenheit) to travel with you on and off the beaten path. With its time-lapse and interval timer functions, every life’s adventure can be recorded and dated. For those who love to snap selfies on the go, the KeyMission 80 also sports a secondary, front-facing 5-megapixel camera for all your selfie needs. This versatile camera has a touch LCD display that allows for settings to be changed, as well as the ability to frame any shot that one desires.


The KeyMission lineup of cameras will be available for purchase starting in October with prices ranging from $270.95 to 499.95 SRP.
