Redrock Micro today announced the release of Mini Rigs, their new innovation in providing support and stability for recording video with mirrorless cameras.
Adapted from cinema-style rigs, Mini Rigs are specifically designed to suit the new generation of smaller and lighter cameras, but reduced in size — and in price. The Mini Rigs will suit a wide range of smaller cameras, including: Sony Alpha A7S II, A7S, A7R II, Panasonic Lumix GH4, GH3, as well as DSLR cameras including Canon 5D series, Canon 7D series, and Nikon D810 series, D600 series, and D7000 series.
Redrock Micro was founded in 2004 with a commitment “to the express purpose of bringing cinema-quality accessories to market at revolutionary prices. We believe in and enable the privilege of personal ownership of production equipment,” and Mini Rigs are the latest example of the company delivering on that commitment.
Mini Rigs are available in three basic configurations, the Mini Handheld Rig, the Mini Shoulder Rig, and the Mini Studio Rig, each of which can be modified or expanded to exactly match the user’s needs. Furthermore, Mini Rigs can be expanded into virtually any type of compact or cinema-style rig, as Mini Rigs are compatible with Redrock’s family of 400+ rig and camera accessories.
