The Adobe Creative Cloud and its subscription based pricing might not be for everyone. Especially for the individual who doesn’t need the full suite of CC apps but wants to edit their video and have access to it across their devices. Today, Adobe announced the arrival of Adobe Premiere Elements 12, the newest version of the best-selling consumer video editing application.

Adobe Premiere Elements 12

Adobe Premiere Elements 12 is packed with professional-grade editing technology and offers a variety of new tools and features. The drag and drop intuitive environment of Premier Elements 12 is geared towards making the video editing experience easier and more accessible.

New Features

New features to Premiere Elements 12 includes a guided edit system that helps to walk the editor through a project, highlighting the features and functions of the application. In keeping with the mobile accessibility of the user’s content, Premiere Elements 12 makes it easy for the user to sort footage and tag it with location based metadata.

There are also a slew of enhancement features including new cinematic looks and motion tracking, allowing the user to place graphics that will track with moving elements in the video. Premiere elements comes with over 50 different musical scores and over 250 sound effects, giving the editor a diverse range of elements for sound design. Color enhancements are easy to perform and blending modes are available for creating rich composited looks.
