John Brawley, beta tester for Blackmagic Design, posted footage from the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera on this blog today. John shot a simple trip to the market, using a Panasonic 12-35mm m4/3 lens. The subject of his footage looks like home video material, but the quality definitely doesn't look like what you might see from a consumer camcorder. Though the footage was shot with an in-camera look, and has been graded, it still gives us a rough idea of what we should be able to expect from the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Just don't plan on footage looking this good coming straight off the card. You'll need to run it through Resolve for that.
