Reprinted from a Ulead press release:

Ulead Systems, Inc., a leading developer of video editing, image editing and DVD authoring software, today announced that MovingPicture 4, the newest version of StageTools’ image pan and zoom plug-in, now supports MediaStudio Pro 7, Ulead’s professional video editing software. The MovingPicture plug-in enables videographers to take scanned images up to 8,000 pixels and create image pan and zoom effects popularized by the legendary Ken Burns and used widely by broadcasters, documentary film producers, schools, corporate and event videographers. Among the tools found in MovingPicture are 16:9 support, 3D skews, numerous motion velocity choices, motion blur, alpha-channel support and sub-pixel rendering.

“We’re pleased that StageTools has designed MovingPicture to work with MediaStudio Pro 7,” says Travis White, product manager of Ulead’s professional video editing and DVD authoring software. “Now our users are equipped with a quick, dedicated plug-in to create pan and zoom effects, using the same tool as used on ABC, Discovery, and LifeTime, among others.”

“It was a natural step to make MovingPicture available for Ulead’s powerful MediaStudio Pro 7 video editing software,” says Bill Ferster, president of StageTools. “MovingPicture coupled with MediaStudio Pro 7’s real-time, full-resolution features give videographers the tools they need to maintain their creative edge.”
