Serious Magic Makes RealOne Default Encoder For Visual Communicator

Serious Magic today announced RealNetworks’ RealVideo 9 as the default video format for its entire Visual Communicator product line. In addition, RealNetworks will also resell Visual Communicator into its corporate, education, government, media and entertainment markets. Visual Communicator with RealVideo 9 is expected to be widely available in the 2nd quarter.

Serious Magic’s Visual Communicator software enables users to easily create professional video presentations in just minutes for email, websites, DVDs, PowerPoint and more. Integrating RealVideo 9 enables customers to easily create and publish their presentations and be assured of high quality video. These presentations can be used in a variety of settings — and are perfectly suited to the RealOne Player experience.
