Contour Announces SpaceShuttle A/V Controller

Windham, NH -July 16, 2002- Contour A/V Solutions, Inc., a leader in the audio/video marketplace, announced today a sleek, affordable, and easy to use audio and video controller. The product, aptly named the SpaceShuttle, was modeled after the award-winning ShuttlePRO, and is a marriage of form and functionality. It will be offered to the OEM Educational and Manufacturing channels for bundling in August 2002.

“The SpaceShuttle was developed out of the need to produce an easy to use product at a affordable price, without sacrificing performance, states Rick Muldoon, president and CEO of Contour A/V Solutions. With the SpaceShuttle we are able to offer our product as a value-added incentive to attract and educate the consumer market.

The SpaceShuttle is a five button jog and shuttle controller with assignable functionality. It can be assigned to do tasks such as play, stop, rewind, fast forward, volume control and much more. In addition, the SpaceShuttle, utilizing the same core technology as the ShuttlePRO, can also be used as a universal device for scrolling and gaming providing accuracy that far exceeds a computer mouse and keyboard.

The SpaceShuttle connects to computers via the USB port and is compatible with Apple Macintosh OS 8.6 through 9.2.2, OS 10.1 or later, Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000 and XP operating systems.

Availability and Pricing
The SpaceShuttle will be made available to its respective channels in August 2002.
