Paulears, thanks for the reply.  You've given me some good places to start.  Sometimes if you don't know the right terms to google you can't get the info you need.

I think we could hang something from the ceiling, but we need the rest of the walls to be empty.  It's meant to be just a big white space.  Since the drywall on the ceiling isn't in the shot, I guess we could just take it back off, even though that would be a pain to do.

Guess I never really considered compressed files to be an issue. I’ve used them in Premiere and never had a problem. Next time I’ll make sure I use a wav or aiff file. Are .wav files the windows equivalent of a Mac .aiff ? Is there any benefit over one or the other?

Thanks for the advice. I just want to make sure it looks the best for everyone. And that saves me lots of trouble of going thru and adjusting everything, hehe.

When did they stop making the VX2100? Are they going to replace it with something? I’ve been thinking about getting one myself in the near future. I just need to know if I should wait a bit longer and get the replacement model that they’ll have, or just get the 2100 from wherever I can.

The audio kinda bugged me with it moving from left to right, back and forth. I felt like I was swimming around, about to fall over. Other than that, the music was good.

I haven’t noticed it in a few days. I’ll keep an eye out for it again. When I export it, it works just fine, audio and video are both in there. I just thought it was weird.

I’m using version 5.0.2. And I’m pretty sure it’s all up-to-date. I’ve run the automatic Software Update, and nothing comes up. I just captured some stuff a bit ago, and I did not get the message, but I’m having other problems, which I started a new topic about. I hear lots of people talk about how Mac’s don’t crash and whatnot. Well, I’m the exception to that rule, and whatever other things that might be good about Mac’s. I think it’s good, but I’m not all that impressed over my PC right now. I’m sure I’ll come around later though. πŸ™‚

Well, I think I’m gonna go for it, and get the mount as well. Thanks for the info.

Which mic exactly did you buy? I’m looking into getting the Azden SGM-X shotgun mic. They do have one that’s chepaer, so I just wanted to make sure I’m not getting the one that you had trouble with.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Shift+N makes a freeze frame. I didn’t know what it was called, and it only works if no clips in the sequence are selected, which is why I couldn’t find it before.

Yeah, I’ve tried that, but it doesn’t work. It just makes one long clip without any cuts. I’ve got the option selected in the preferences that is supposed to make subclips, but it won’t work. Silly Final Cut Pro.

So, does no one watch this show, or do you guys just not know how to go about doing that intro? I think I’m just gonna fool around with it and see what happens. If it works out, maybe I’ll post what I got. I need to figure out how to do the clock thing too, but that’s probably a bit easier.

About the tapes, guess I forgot to mention it, but I do have them. I had taken them out and set them in my room before the cameras were taken, so thankfully I have most of the footage. I think I have everything that I shot with my camera, I just don’t have the footage shot from the other angle from the other camera. But that’s okay, it’ll still work out.

I had mentioned the reward idea to some of the guys, but it hasn’t come up w/ anything. But, as some good news, my parent’s homeowners insurance is going to cover it since I’m still a student in school. There’s a $500 deductible, which stinks, but I’ll still get something back. The week that it happened I called the police, and they sent someone to the house, and we talked and he tried telling me there was nothing they could do, which I understood. But I really know nothing about filing a police report, and I assumed that when I called them up and they took my information that a report was made, but apparently not, so I have to call them back up and get them to file a report, so I can give an incident number to the insurance co. So, at least there’s some light at the end of the tunnel. I’m just thanking God that I can get at least something back, though it’s not all of it.

Well, after talking it over with one of my roommates (I have 5), we have an idea of who we think it might be. One of the roommates had his brother and a friend over the other night (The night before I noticed it missing). The roommate was not here, so it was just his brother and the friend for most of the time. I was working late that nite, and they were gone before I got there. Obviously, I have no proof of any of this, but the roommate is going to mention it to his parents and have them keep an eye out.

When my other roommate returned from visiting home for a few weeks, he said that his PDA was missing as well as a few pair of pants. So, we’re figuring it’s probably the same people.

I’m not sure how I could go about doing the reward thing. The brother and his friend live about an hour away, and they probably won’t be coming back any time soon. I’m really hoping and praying that they turn up, but if they don’t, at least that’s all they took. There’s plenty of other stuff in the house they could have taken, but granted, those were probably the smallest most expensive things they could have taken.

Thanks for the advice. I’m really not sure what to do other than file a police report, at least to have it on record.

Best micro four thirds lenses β€” 2021

MFT, or micro four thirds, is a popular mount style used by many manufacturers in conjunction with the micro 4/3 sensor. It’s good to keep in mind that micro four thirds camera systems use a smaller sensor.
