I use tripods on the stationary cameras but was wondering about the camera that I am operating and moving around with (sometimes in a hurry) I have been using a monopod without a head on it and I think there are sometimes when a head would be nice to have. I have never used a shoulder support and was curious as to how steady they are.
Thanks Ken! One more question, for shooting events and weddings do you think it would be better to use a monopod with a fluid head on it or a shoulder support system. Would probably be easier to move around with the shoulder support but I have never used one and am not sure how steady they are. Any recommendations?
Was looking at BH and found this combo. Is there anything here that I should look out for? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=523094&is=REG
Thanks for the info Gilby, though I was hoping to findaname brandpiece of equipment that would work. You would think with the amount of 8mmfilm out there that someone would make such a projector, anyone else know of anything?
Thank you Kevin! Do you happen to know what file extension you would need to have on the file for the PS3 to read it? Do you think Pinnacle 11 would be able to create / render a file like that?
I also have an XH-A1 and have just downloaded the trial viersion of Vegas and the one time I have tried to capture it would not work for me either. I have been using Pinnacle Studio 11 which is OK but I would like to move to higher grade of editing software, I have also thought about going with Adobe.
They are the old slides that use a projecter.
Thanks for the responces! I wonder if Avid Liquid will have all of the locking up, crashing and freezing problems that go along with Pinnicle?
Thanks for the assistance Moglepro! I took your advise and tried a couple things and found that when i go to make movie and it locks up I can get it to unlock by ejecting my DVD drive so I’m wondering if it maybe its my drive? I am using a Philips DVD +-RW DVD8631 BD10 drive that came with my computer. I think my computer itself is OK it is a Dell with a P4 3.4GHz, 2Gigs of RAM, Nvdia GeForce 6800 GPU vid card with 256Mb of memory and a SB Audigy 2ZS sound card. I was able to get it to make move – it said disc creation successfull or something like that, then when I tried to play the DVD on the computer it would not recognize it, when I put it in my stand alone DVD player/recorder it would read it and play it but there was no audio, which is probably why the computer would not recognize it. Any advise for that?

Thanks for the reply! I am hoping to stay under 1K for price, was just not sure if anyone new which software would capture seperate left and right audio channels.
