ParticipantI’m tired… Surely I’m not the only one having these problems. I feel like it takes forever for me to find good music on stock sites. When I finally find something decent it doesn’t quite fit, or isn’t long enough, I have to fiddle around with looping to extend it or editing to make it end where I want and to sound musically correct.
I feel like there should be an easier way to find music, when I know what I want before hand, and making it fit nicely to my video.I’m a musician myself but often don’t have time to compose tracks for the type of videos I make, or the money to pay someone 🙁
What’s the thing you hate the most about getting stock music?? Am I the only one having these problems?
We are a couple of people currently looking into this out of pure curiosity, trying to find if others are feeling the same frustrations. Why is stock music a pain in the arse?

ParticipantOne of the reasons we produce our own. There’s nothing wrong with stock music, but finding it takes time. If you cannot produce your own, then that time is part of the production deal. If you can, then that time is also part of the deal.
