Hello all, first post on here.

I just need a few opinions about video editing software.

I’ve absolutely had it with Videopad! I keep having issues with it. I pay for it, and the tech support was trash last time I had an issue. Now I can’t export projects without it crashing. I do really basic video production, so I don’t really need much. I’m gonna try Lightworks, Filmora, and Davinci over the next week, but I’d still rather have something a bit more, modern? That has a similar workflow to Videopad, because it was perfect for my needs: but I need efficient and reliable above all.

If any one knows of some specific Videopad alternatives, I’d love to know of them.

      Thank you

VideoPad alternative? Have you ever heard of Joyoshare Media Cutter? I think it is one of the best alternatives to VideoPad video editor. It’s easy to use and features various video editing options, including cut, trim, merge, convert, crop, rotate, flip, adjust aspect ratio, enhance output quality, add subtitles, control volume, insert background music, create watermarks in text or image, remove noise, etc. You can be at ease. It will export your video without any trouble after editing.

Hmm, I just DLed it & it does look very simple, but too simple.

I don’t see a transition option or fade out, etc.

        Thanks anyway.

Try using Avidemux. It’s a free video editor designed for simple cutting, filtering, and encoding tasks. It supports many file types, including AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4, and ASF, using a variety of codecs. Tasks can be automated using projects, job queue, and powerful scripting.
