i recorded a long commentary video but the lighting for some reason slowly and subtly gets lighter and darker every few seconds. its not notiacble unless theres a lot of jump cuts and there are hundreds. is there some sort of way to automaticly color grade them or feather them so the lighting changes arnt noticable. especially with all the compression going on.

If you don’t know what caused it, then the only way would be to use keyframes to adjust whatever you use to control video level – so if over ten seconds it gets lighter, you set the level at the start, set the level at the end, and let the software manage the change – Premiere and other pro editors can do this quite simply – what do you use too edit? I assume you might have tried this and it has failed? Sadly, you need to manually adjust each clip
