ParticipantHi hello
I’ve been using fusion as a hobby because of money issues and the adobe cloud can sometimes be a little bit expensive
I do really miss AE because some things in fusion are too complicated to do and viceversa
But fusion trackers are not really top notch But for a free software it gives you enough to work around it
What’s your opinion on both Should I just stick with one and be really good at it or it really doesn’t matter
I would like to do short vfx videos with frienda like corridor digital (they use AE so I learned from them) and maybe use that for a showreel In the future.
Thank you very much Have an awesome week

ParticipantI think AE is the industry standard. But free is free and if that is all you can afford I think you answered your own question. If you want to get a job at a studio you need to learn AE. If you are doing stuff on your own it doesn’t matter what you use as long as it works.
