I am a very novice user of video equipment. I film little league games so that the coaches can review the game and the parents can get video of their kids great plays. I am using multiple cameras and have not found a way to play the video back with each recording time sync. I'd like to be able to watch all the camera angles simultaneously and synchronized. All the software I have found to do this is fairly expensive. I film for free. How can I do this and not spend a small fortune?

I have a fairly basic shoot to do for a training film but I am not sure about a couple of finer points so hope someone can help.

My budget is fairly limited so I am having to think carefuly about what kit and resource I employ without risking it being a poor end result.

The shoot will be a number of fairly short customer service scanarios (2min) in a hight street food outlet. I was aiming to use as my main camera a Sony DSR 570.

1st question - Is this likely to be overkill for a short training application? Would something like a Sony PD170 do the job as well?

Hi. This question deals more with webcams than anything else but it might apply to this forum. As you may soon suspect, I know very little about videography!

I am a musician who is currently giving a couple of my students lessons via the internet. It works rather well but my one gripe is using only one camera. This means I need to get closer to the cam with my instrument to show a specific hand position in detail, but then I need to move back so the student would be able to see proper body positioning, etc.
