TAMRON at NAB 2026: Interactive innovation for creators

NAB Show has never been short on booths promising the future of content creation. Most of them deliver a loop reel on a monitor and a stack of sell sheets. TAMRON is taking a different approach this year. Booth #C7521 is designed around one idea: letting creators actually use the gear.

At NAB Show 2026, TAMRON is delivering a hands-on, creator-first experience. This means hosted demo stations, along with speaker programming and promotions, which include a 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD lens giveaway.

For video creators who are tired of walking a trade show floor without touching anything, TAMRON’s booth might be the most productive stop in the Central Hall.

A hands-on experience at NAB 2026

Most trade show booths keep the good stuff behind glass. TAMRON’s isn’t one of them. The demo stations at Booth #C7521 are set up so attendees can grab a lens, mount it on a camera and start shooting.

The glass on hand includes the 16-30mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2, the 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD, the 20-40mm F/2.8 Di III VXD and the 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD. All are designed specifically for video creation. The focal ranges cover everything from wide establishing shots to tighter framing for interviews and talking-head content. TAMRON built the booth around the idea that gear should be in people’s hands so they can get a true sense of what it’s capable of.

Beyond the glass itself, each demo station is running TAMRON Lens Utility™  Ver. 5.0 on iPhones. TAMRON’s TLU 5.0 mobile app is built for video workflows, giving shooters direct control over lens functions from a phone screen. Solo operators who can’t always reach the lens barrel mid-take will appreciate what that means in practice.

The big news is iOS support. Android users have had access to TLU for a while now, but the iOS release dramatically expands the user base. If you’ve been waiting to try the app on your iPhone, the booth is your chance to test it with actual TAMRON glass attached to a rig.

Then there’s TAMRON-LINK. It’s a new hardware device that connects TAMRON lenses to expanded control and integration options. TAMRON is saving some specifics for the show floor reveal, but attendees can get hands-on experience with the device at the demo stations. For creators who want tighter lens control without bolting on a full follow-focus system, it’s worth a look.

Learning from the pros

TAMRON is hosting in-booth speaker sessions featuring professional videographers and filmmakers Charley Voorhis, Jake Sloan and Levi Allen alongside TAMRON representative Marc Morris. The sessions zero in on TLU Mobile: what it is, how it integrates with TAMRON lenses and why it matters for video-first shooters.

These presentations go beyond feature overviews. Expect real-world demos of customizable focus control, preset functions and mobile connectivity across both video and hybrid workflows. So, whether you’re a filmmaker, content creator or photographer, you’ll walk away with practical insights you can immediately apply in the field.
