YT rationale is simple there are more browsers
with flash 7 in the world, so they transcode everything to Flash 7.
Namely, they want reach more people, it’s not about quality.
They’re quite few other competitors that have better
quality videos: Stage6, Ravver or even MySpace, yet
they’re not as succesful….
If you want to be in YT, meet their requirements.
