You might check with your local circuit city for hard drives. I just picked up a 300 gb western digital for $100 (180 – 80 mail in rebate). If you can’t find any good rebates locally then Newegg is probably the way to go. I think everyone usually recommends Western Digital, although some like Seagate or Maxtor.
I’m running three hard drives as well. A 74 gb raptor (WD’s 10,000 rpm drive) on SATA, and then a WD 250 & 300 on IDE. Works fine. My only problem was trying to install the SATA drive. Didn’t realize I had to use 3rd party drivers and I didn’t have a floppy drive (not to mention I didn’t know what I was doing). Fun times.
