Also, on my last short film, we used Canon XH A1s and we had some problems with video becaues the LCDscreengave ussome problems. It looked fineon the screen, but in Sony Vegas, it was WAY dark!My teacher got us a little moniter that we hooked up to the main camera. It helped because the moniter told us what it would look like in Vegas, rather than what the LCD screen on the camera said. The movie’s lighting ended up better than we’d hoped because of that little moniter.
I’m not sure about the XH A1s LCD screen, but a moniter will definitely help.
