This is nothing new. The HD format is not the issue. It’s the media (disk format). The blue ray/HD DVD debate has been going on for a couple years already. Eventually, one format will win out. The problem is, like the Beta/VHS war in the early ’80s, the best format doesn’t always win (otherwise we would have all had Beta VCRs).
