Thanks Jim. Thats a bit out of my league. I am considering new low cost camcorders such as the JVC GZ-MG20 or GZ series. They claim DV quality straight to built in hard drive. I am using Adobe Premiere on a PC with XP and USB 2 or firewire. I have a GL1 and want to purchase camcorders like the one I mentioned.
