Sony Vegas will do everything you need it to do and is pretty easy to learn. Maybe a little steeper of a learning curve than things such as Adobe Elements and the more basic video editors, but the fact that you are on a videomaker website and are asking for help shows that you are bright and that it will be pretty easy for to learn.
