Something to consider IS the warranty. When I bought my DX-100B from a discount house in NY, I was unaware that it was in fact a Canadian import; and so, if I had a warranty issue, I'd have to ship it to Canada for repair. Luckily I've had no issues for several years. Now if I need service I can send it to a US service center.
