I’m with ‘Cat on you getting some stabilization. I would add that a good old lightweight tripod would work too. Also, you gotta’ do something with your audio. Sounds like you’re using the built-in mic with auto levels and no attenuation or at least a windscreen. If you must have nat sound, a good way to get it is with a separate microphone either plugged in to your camera’s audio port (if it has one available) or get a separate recorder like a Zoom H1 with a fuzzy muff over it and set to manual levels. You can sync the audio later in editing and you can drop that harsh camera mic audio for the cleaner synced sound. The last thing you want is for your hard work to look and sound like typical ‘Tube Video.
