- I’m not familiar with Final Cut Express. In Sony Vegas this would be relatively easy to correct, using one or more of the Color Correction tools, the Primary and Secondary Color Correcter and Color Curves.
- If you have color correction tools, try establishing white first — the girl’s teeth or the white stripes in the ref’s shirt, for example — with the center wheel. Then use your secondary CC plugin to tweak the blue channel and, if necessary, use Color Curves to further tweak. Also see what happens if you use the desaturation plugin to tone down the blue.
- It will take some experimentation on your part but you shouldn’t have to resort to going to black and white.
