I’m not exactly sure of what you’re asking. First of all the NLE program you’re working with has to support dual-screen viewing. Second, you need the actual ports on your computer to connect to.

Most newer computers have both a connection for your video monitor and an S-video port. But your software does have to support dual screen.

In my case, I connect the S-video out to a tv via an adaptor as the tv doesn’t have S-video in. Surely an S-video vcr will connect and your tv can monitor that.

Just curious, but why would you want to output to an S-video vcr? Most consumers don’t have them, but they more than likely have a dvd player.
