The indie filmmaker’s workhorse. I’ve got a set of those too. One stand-up pair and one floor. They do a good job, but they are rough on talent even when using diffusing material. Plus they get ridiculously hot (same as the Tota light which is a Halogen w/o the glass shielding).
For video editors, finding the perfect portable workstation is like catching a unicorn. It is no easy task to find the perfect balance of performance vs price point.
